Making Connections knows the power for positive changes exists within the residents themselves. They have everything they need to lead their neighborhoods and work with others in the community to solve the problems they face. They just need ways to link to one another and become engaged. This means:

• Strong social networks like faith groups, youth groups, school groups, sports leagues
• Groups organized around social justice issues
• Leadership opportunities
• Small grants for neighborhood projects
• Time-dollar exchange for needed goods and services
